BUDS 2   SeaDoo 130hp  Upgrade 170hp  – jetski engine number (1630)(1603)

Please follow step-by-step instructions.

Go to the site   epc.brp.com and search for your  Vehicle Model Number -International –And by the firmware number (420….) , check where this ECU block is used

Select year: example GTI 2024- 170hp- Model Number  International ! look for a model-(model Number are letters and numbers)

 

BRP Kit:

1. Diagnostic adapter MPI IXXAT and MPI  DIUS
2. Device Power interface kit

3. BUDS2 – connect vehicle BRP 2017 -2026 + year   BUDS 2 license Mechatronic Expert  (LEVEL 3)

–OPEN BUDS2 Administrator

4. TAB SCAN click

TAB Summary –click
Double click Vehicle Model Number and Change the  number to  International –GTI 170hp

(exaple photo -TAB Summary – tab Vehicle Model Number)

 

5. OPEN TAB CDID click

In CDID Settings, the engine model needs to be changed from “1603 DT” to “1603 NA”.

INFO: When in the TAB CDID section after performing the international model NUMBER change, be sure that the country designation is set to “1603 NA”.

If it is not, you can manually change it, then write the values back.

 

6. TAB KEY Change key Rental to KEY Normal

 

7. OPEN TAB SETTING click

click TAB ECM Variant Coding- check the box

Byte 2 Bit6- check the box + 2 –5 km.

Byte 2 Bit7 check the box + 2 -5 km.

 

8. TAB WRITE RAW Value click

 

Disconnect PWC  from diagnostic . Speed test PWC
