BUDS2 Repair Can-Am Outlander

NOTE-IF YOU ASKED FOR HELP AND DON’T DO WHAT I TELL YOU. IN SUCH CASES, I WILL NOT HELP.

Question:

I have a problem with a Can-Am Outlander 1000 XTP ’22.

A technician used Diusflacher to write a file for the ’21 model to this machine. This is a ’22 model.
But I can’t find the original ’22 file in the Dius.  BUDS2 license All Dealer Technician
Can you help me?

I don’t know who you bought the program  Dius flacher from.

Make sure you have the Vehicle model number set correctly.

Check ✔️  Make sure you have done everything to remove the Errors

STEP1

1. Diagnostic adapter MPI IXXAT and MPI  DIUS

2. Device Power interface kit

3. BUDS2 – connect vehicle BRP 2017 -2026 + year

BUDS 2 license Mechatronic Expert  (LEVEL 3) 

BUDS2 The Dealer license /All Dealer Technician-  It will NOT help solve the problem

4. Open program BUDS 2- Administrator

P.S. Since I don’t know what the client was doing, just photos. After I provided the license for free Mechatronic Expert  (LEVEL 3) Here you can immediately see that the Module VCM  is in the BOOT mode

5. Tab Summary
Check ✔️Tab Vehicle model number

Go to the site epc.brp.com and search for your Vehicle Model Number

Everything is correct here.  Sticker vehicle model number 5LNA

BUDS 2 tab Summary Tab Vehicle Model number 5LNA  Vehicle – 2022 yaer

 

Check ✔️

NOTE Verify the part number of the Cluster is correct for the vehicle.
On the vehicle summary page double click on the vehicle model number and complete the model number re-write process.

STEP 2

VCM- Restore  module

1. Tab Settings click
2. Tab Model Browser click
3. Tab Search – click
4. Tab Model number Vehicle – click
5. Tab Products click – ATV/ pwc …. -( example photo)
   Enter Original Model number

Information vehicle

6. Tab Update modules with SKU

Reflash – Restore VCM- wait until the program BUDS 2 restores the VCM!!!

 

7. Tab Faults delete error

8. Tab Settings click

9. Tab Reset Gear Position Sensor click

10. Tab SCAN- Make sure there are no more faults in your Vehicle

Disconnect  from diagnostic MPI
