Diagnostic and fix SeaDoo iBR SeaDoo 2010-2016 won’t go into forward or reverse and the IBR light comes on.

Code display cluster- P1661/ C0073/C2101/C2102

Repair I diagnose and replace a bad IBR Actuator (Intelligent Brake & Reverse)

Clean and check for damage/wear parts in the reverse system and nozzle area.
Check iBR electrical motor wiring.
Isolate the iBR output shaft from the reverse system and activate the iBR, if the fault comes active, replace iBR.

 

Please follow step-by-step instructions.

1. Connect  diagnostic
   MPI-3 adapter (p/n 529036353) + Diagnostic Cable (p/n 710000851)

TAB FAULTS- Delete error

 

1. Instal new iBR

2. Connect  diagnostic
MPI-3 adapter (p/n 529036353) + Diagnostic Cable (p/n 710000851)

3. OPEN BRP program BUDS E3.8.2.- vehicle BRP: 2007-2016 yaer License MEGATECH

 

1 Tab READ DATA click

 

2. Tab click YES

 

 

3. Tab VIN/MODEL – click

 

4. So the ECM and iBR has to be the same numbers.
Meaning copy ECM number and type it into the iBR..

5. Tab OK- click

 

5. Tab Write data- click

 

 

6. Open TAB Setting

RESET TPS- click

 

7. START Engine 5 -10 sec

STOP engine

 

Disconnect device MPI -PWC
